Early Bird
I know, it’s only the middle of September – but so what. Getting motivated and starting to think about what you want to achieve in the next year is always beneficial, no matter the time. I love reading about people’s goals because it motivates me and gives me ideas for my own life. So sit back and enjoy some potential inspiration for your goal list!
Reading
My goal for 2024 is to read at least 24 books. That is two books per month. For some this might seem little, for others it might seem a lot. This year in 2023 my goal was a book a month, which I completed already. I mostly red non-fiction books, which in my eyes is a bit harder to read than fiction. I am proud of all the books I checked off and can’t wait to further my knowledge.
Low Buy Year
In 2022 I did a No Buy Year. It went pretty well. This year (2023) I felt like I had to catch up on some things though, which led to spending more than I had wished to. This is why I’d like to attempt a Low Buy Year in 2024, since it won’t restrict me as much as my No Buy Year but still helps me move into the right direction and stay on track.
No Plastic
I want to challenge myself to buy as little plastic as possible next year. The problem with this is that most food products that are budget friendly come in plastic. I will have to find a way to make it work both financially and environmentally. This will be a challenge.
Donations
I want to get back into the habit of donating money each month to charities etc. I think this is a good habit to have and also broadens your knowledge of what organisations are out there and what they do.
We will see!
These are some of my goals for the next year, 2024. What are yours? Do you like setting goals? I like checking back in with goals I set and having a challenge to keep myself accountable.
